Genmaicha (or genmaicha) is a green tea originally from Japan, made from sencha tea leaves and roasted brown rice. Genmaicha differs from other green teas in its exotic taste and aroma; it contains notes of nuts, caramel, popcorn and bread. It has no bitterness or acidity; on the contrary, it is slightly sweet and soft. Rice tea quenches thirst and is refreshing.
